Become a success story in our Welding Department. This role involves welding components in various positions, operating safety equipment, and using safe work habits. The Welder will lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies, examine workpieces for defects, and measure them to ensure conformance with specifications. They will also set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, welding various alloys and configurations. The position requires analyzing engineering drawings, blueprints, and other documentation to plan operations, and marking materials with proper identification. A thorough understanding of TIG welding fundamentals and the ability to produce quality welds on various materials are essential. The Welder will also set up and maintain equipment, read drawings, measure with gauges and calipers, maintain production consistency, and keep the work area organized and clean. Assisting other TIG Welders when needed is also part of the role.
