About The Position

At QA1, we design and build high-performance suspension and driveline components for classic and modern performance vehicles. We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our Team in Mooresville, NC. In this role, you will transform raw materials into precision-crafted parts. Your attention to detail is crucial for ensuring the quality our customers expect.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with advanced education in welding technology preferred
2+ Years of Welding Experience
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Prior experience with basic hand tools and power tools
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills

Basic math, reading and English communication skills
Comfortable with team interaction or alone under busy conditions with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of welding activities and materials used.
Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and support overall operations.
Contributes to a continuous improvement culture.
Other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.
