About The Position

Leonhardt Manufacturing is hiring 1st shift welders. This role involves MIG welding from blueprints and work orders. You'll produce parts in galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, or carbon steel, maintaining consistent quality and output. We are currently hiring for set, full-time schedules: 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience with MIG welding required
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing of products
• Ability to identify and measure material
• Ability to produce quality products consistently
• Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma/GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding based on blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements
• Set up components and fixtures for welding
• Weld galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel
• Inspect welds for quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications
• Grind, sand, and finish welds as needed
• Support inspection processes (visual, leak testing, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Contribute to daily production and quality goals
