Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in marine or manufacturing environments preferred
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Set up welding equipment independently
- Tack weld and apply heat evenly while producing clean, quality weld beads
- Weld aluminum and carbon steel proficiently
- Perform welding in all positions: uphill, horizontal, vertical, and flat
- Identify and repair defective welds
- Maintain high quality standards with strong attention to detail
- Use math skills to read accurately and measure with a tape measure
- Successfully complete a pre-employment mock weld test
