About The Position
Exmark, a division of The Toro Company located in Beatrice, Nebraska, is seeking a Welder for its 1st shift. Exmark is the leading manufacturer of commercial mowers and equipment for landscape professionals, known for its high-quality and productivity-enhancing products. This role involves performing various welding duties on outdoor power equipment.
Requirements
- Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures.
- Experience in using power tools helpful.
Responsibilities
- Perform and complete welding duties and responsibilities on a variety of different types of outdoor power equipment.
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand.
- Select appropriate weld jig, positions and secures piece parts in weld jig by loading parts by hand or by hoist.
- Perform MIG tack welds and seam welds based on project needs.
- Set up welding cells for production runs.
- Buff and inspect welded surfaces to ensure quality standards are met.
