About The Position

Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirement, alignments and dimensional specifications. Requires a broad knowledge of welding technology in addition to extensive welding experience, fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications. Reports directly to Production Supervisor, Weld Shop or his/her designate.

Requirements

Technical Trades School in Welding
High school GED
1+ years of welding experience.
Must be willing to work overtime as required.
Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirement, alignments and dimensional specifications.
Fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications.
Reports directly to Production Supervisor, Weld Shop or his/her designate.
Ability and willingness to abide by set policies and/or safety programs established by GHM, our clients, and/or regulatory agencies which govern our performance and behavior in the normal course of our work while on GHM or the client’s property or job site.

Exposure to hazardous materials, fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts with vibration.
