About The Position

Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirement, alignments and dimensional specifications. Requires a broad knowledge of welding technology in addition to extensive welding experience, fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications. Reports directly to Production Supervisor, Weld Shop or his/her designate.

Requirements

  • Technical Trades School in Welding
  • High school GED
  • 1+ years of welding experience.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all position welding on an assortment of structures and weldments in accordance with code requirement, alignments and dimensional specifications.
  • Fulfills ASME section IX welding qualifications.
  • Reports directly to Production Supervisor, Weld Shop or his/her designate.
  • Ability and willingness to abide by set policies and/or safety programs established by GHM, our clients, and/or regulatory agencies which govern our performance and behavior in the normal course of our work while on GHM or the client’s property or job site.
