About The Position

This role involves fabricating components by analyzing requirements and welding parts. The Welder will be responsible for developing welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assemblies, calculating requirements, studying metals, and determining appropriate welding techniques. The position also includes collecting equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements, and ordering supplies and gases. The Welder will fabricate components using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces, as well as setting-up and measuring assemblies and selecting appropriate methods. Verifying welding results through inspection and testing, documenting actions, and maintaining a safe work environment are also key duties. Additionally, the Welder will keep equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. The role also involves accomplishing manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
