About The Position
Anchor Fabrication is seeking a full-time Welder to join their team in Walnut, MS. This position offers a salary range of $16.00 - $17.50 per hour on the 1st shift. The role involves learning and applying welding procedures, implementing safety policies, and assisting higher-level welders to gain experience and prepare for welding certification.
Requirements
- Must have some weld experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
- Must have effective communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to retain training
- Punctual and dependable attendance record
- A strong work ethic with sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply welding procedures
- Learn and implement safety policies
- Learn to follow a WPS
- Assist higher level welders and receive hands on experience and training to prepare for welding certification
