About The Position

This position reports to the Welding Supervisor and is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties. The Welder performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production.

Requirements

• One-year on the job experience or welding classes desired.
• Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test
• Ability to work and communicate accurately and factual as an effective team member with fellow employees, leadmen and supervision.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• MIG welding experience preferred, semi-automatic MIG welding a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
• Label products correctly.
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• Perform any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned, and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.
