About The Position

PACE Supply is seeking a dependable, motivated Welder for its Fire Protection Division in Nampa, Idaho. The role involves hands-on welding, fabrication, and repair work using semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment, along with assisting with pipe installations and repairs. The Welder supports the team by following quality and safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The position offers opportunities to develop technical skills and follows a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 8:00 AM, with no weekend shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout the shift.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand tools.
• Steel-toed boots and appropriate safety gear.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Successful completion of a background check, physical examination, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a welding, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and production machinery.
• Weld components using semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair basic components as needed.
• Assist with pipe installation, fabrication, and repair work.
• Load, unload, and move products and materials safely.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, schematics, and other job-related documentation.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Follow established operating procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Recognize, report, and help address potential safety hazards.
