About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team and fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components for a variety of industries, including construction, transportation, energy, and defense. This role requires expertise in MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding, along with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality welds that meet customer specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and other fabrication materials.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Welder or certification from an accredited welding program.
  • Experience with brazing and advanced metal joining techniques.
  • Previous manufacturing, industrial, or construction welding experience.
  • Knowledge of welding inspection methods and quality control procedures.
  • Experience working with automated or robotic welding equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Prepare materials and complete welds that meet quality and dimensional requirements.
  • Perform inspections of completed welds to verify structural integrity and workmanship.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment to position materials.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and assist with routine maintenance as needed.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Follow welding procedures, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
