About The Position

Steel fabricator seeks experienced and/or educated Welders to fabricate steel support structures and/or material handling equipment. The ideal candidates will have a background in MIG welding. All work is done in-house. We’re looking for long-term candidates, who are looking for secure and rewarding employment.

Requirements

• Welding experience and/or education
• Read and understand detailed prints & work orders
• Accurately read tape measure
• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Regular and on-time attendance
• Basic understanding of manufacturing safety regulations
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability and desire to work as part of a team
• Good communication and interaction skills
• Willingness to follow correct safety procedures at all times
• Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• 2-years welding experience and/or education
