2nd Shift Welder
About The Position
We are seeking Welders in Fountain, Colorado to join our team! This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The pay rate is $27-$33/hr DOE plus a 10% shift differential. The role involves welding production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds. Weld-prep carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using Mig & Tig processes, primarily in the 1-G, 3-G, and 6-G positions, along with sawing and hand-grinding to produce quality welds. Support will be provided to the Machine Shop and Production Molding departments, including tasks like drilling and tapping, sawing, polishing, burning of steel shapes and details, and rolling rings for Rotational Molding projects. The welder will also fabricate pipes and/or vessels of various sizes according to drawing specifications.
Requirements
- 4+ years related experience in addition to formal training is preferred
- Current certifications in welding, forklift operations, crane and rigging preferred
Responsibilities
- Weld production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds
- Weld-prep carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum in predominately the 1-G, 3-G, and 6-G positions
- Perform sawing and hand-grinding to produce quality welds by Mig & Tig processes
- Provide support to the Machine Shop and Production Molding departments, such as drilling and tapping, sawing, polishings, and burning of steel shapes and details
- Roll rings for Rotational Molding projects
- Fabricate pipes and/or vessels of various sizes to the drawing specifications
- Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions
- Perform work safely and comply with all Company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform work in accordance with established quality standards, work instructions, and Company policies and procedures
- Protect confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company and customer information

- Be willing to work overtime, modified schedules, or additional hours as required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs
