About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a welder, with expertise in MIG welding techniques.
Strong welding skills and the ability to produce high-quality welds with a focus on precision and accuracy.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Knowledge of different metals and their welding procedures.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest quality.
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot welding-related issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

Additional technical or vocational training is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks, including MIG and other applicable welding processes, to join various metal components, following technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Participate in the fabrication and assembly of components used in Sage Oil Vac equipment, such as tanks, frames, brackets, and other metal structures.
Maintain the highest standards of welding quality, inspecting completed work for accuracy and structural integrity to meet company and industry standards.
Safely handle and store welding materials, gases, and equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
Ensure welding equipment is properly maintained and promptly report any equipment issues or repair needs.
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with other members of the fabrication and manufacturing team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues related to welding or component assembly and find practical solutions.
Maintain records of welding activities, including materials used, welding parameters, and any modification made to the standard procedures.
Responsible for keeping the welding area clean and in order.
Assist other team members if necessary.
Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
