Climate Systems, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Welder to join our mechanical construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and components. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Welder in a construction or fabrication environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in welding and construction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Additional technical training or certification in welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks on a variety of metal materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, using MIG, TIG, Stick, and other welding methods.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install structural components and metal assemblies as required.
  • Inspect welds and metal structures for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of welding equipment and tools, performing routine checks and repairs as necessary.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work closely with other trades and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
