About The Position

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Welder to perform welding tasks on pipeline and various utility infrastructure projects. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in diverse and sometimes challenging environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in construction or utility environments
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with welding codes and industry standards.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• welding certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols related to utility construction.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on steel, cast iron, and other materials.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipelines, structural supports, and utility infrastructure components.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment according to project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure welds meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and field crews to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
