Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a Welder (Travel) for customized jobs that allow employees to use their experience and expertise. This position is ideal for individuals located in the Michiana area who are looking for more than just routine production welding.

Requirements

• SMAW (stick) experience is a must.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
• Willingness to travel (1-2 weeks at a time).
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Satisfactorily pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• DUI, reckless driving, or excessive at-fault accidents may be disqualifying.

Nice To Haves

• Blueprint reading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks utilizing SMAW (stick) welding.
• Travel for job assignments, typically 1-2 weeks at a time.
• Work as a team player.
• Maintain excellent attendance.
