About The Position

Austin Industrial is hiring a structural welder to join metal parts, such as pipe or metal plates, according to layouts, blueprints, work orders, welding procedures, or oral instructions, using heat or electric arc-welding equipment. The role includes checking work pieces against specifications, positioning materials with lifting equipment or hand tools, and working at heights on ladders or scaffolds. Applicants must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Austin Industrial cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
