About The Position

Lays out, fits, and welds steel and aluminum components to assemble structural forms such as triangle frames, rectangle frames, pile frames, columns, struts, and other building parts. Successful candidate will be subject to random drug screening per our Company DFWP policy, may be subject to a background check. Dependability for work schedule is crucial.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Ability to read drawings
Ability to calculate figures such as angles and areas
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral diagram or schedule form
Ability to operate small hand tools such as grinders, drills, and band saws
Ability to operate forklift
Ability to set up and operate fabricating machines such as punch, shear, notcher, torch or drill press
Ability to position, fit, and align tack parts
Ability to design and fabricate templates
Ability to verify product conformance using blueprints and other means
Ability to make repairs to products by dismantling, reshaping and reassembling
