About The Position

Responsible for welding brake shoes. This role requires maintaining environmental health and safety standards, loading brake shoe parts into fixtures, verifying part quality, keeping the work area clean, and working safely. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to work well with others
• Must be able to stand continuously for 8-12 hrs.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills
• Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations

Responsibilities

• Maintain Environmental Health and Safety standards in the workplace
• Loads brake shoe parts into the fixture and verify the quality of parts.
• Always keep work area clean
• Work in a safe manner always
• Other duties as assigned
