About The Position
At this level, the associate can help develop new processes and recognize and solve most non-routine process problems. The associate at this level is more aware of the business and can make process improvements that reduce cost and/or improve quality and delivery. They may interact with associates in other functional areas and can oversee and assist with department development.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots common machine electrical and mechanical problems
- Identifies gas supply / mixture problems
- Develops / modifies existing simple weld schedules for new parts
- Understands and can weld complex process sheets
- Demonstrates the ability to improve processes to reduce setup times and cycle times
- Works on his/her own and helps answer questions from less qualified associates
- Works with related departments on his/her own (e.g. Tool Room, Engineering, Inspection)
