Position Summary: Responsible for processing orders in the Weld cell in accordance with the schedule and quality standards that are in place. Responsible for driving continuous improvement through a formal process implementing lean manufacturing, one piece flow, 5-S and Kanban to create an efficient quality product.

• Resolve order inaccuracies, assist in resolving customer / internal issues as they arise.
• Communicate with lead or supervisor to resolve issues.
• Stable and progressive work history

• Experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity
• Analyze the current processes and recommend improvements.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring tools. ie, tape measure, calipers
• Ability to read and interpret prints
• Maintain and clean welding machine
• Wear proper PPE
• Able to adjust and set machine according to thickness and material type.
• Participate in troubleshooting during down time.
• Ensure proper paperwork is with each order.
• Time management and prioritization of multiple tasks.
• Meeting daily production schedules.
• Participate and maintain a 4.5 or higher in 5S
