About The Position

ABW is seeking motivated intermediate and experienced welders who take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules. This role involves fitting and welding components according to weld procedures, accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision. All fit-up and welds are inspected by in-house and/or customer CWI's. ABW administers in-house testing and certification, evaluating welders on their ability to read and understand drawings, tolerances, and welding procedures.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
Ability to fit and weld components in accordance with weld procedures accounting for weld shrinkage with minimal supervision.
0-3 Years FCAW Welding experience.
Ability to commute to Arlington, WA 98223.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Able to meet attendance requirements.
Can pass a FCAW test in steel.
Can pass a 6G GTAW (TIG) test in Aluminum.
Can pass an open root stainless TIG weld test.

Responsibilities
