About The Position

This role is critical in fabricating and assembling structural components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring precision, durability, and compliance with engineering specifications. To ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce. Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with structural welding codes and standards (AWS D1.1 or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety practices.
• 0-2 years of MIG welding experience, preferably in a structural or heavy fabrication setting.

Nice To Haves

• AWS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic welding tasks under supervision (MIG, Stick, or Flux-Core)
• Read and follow simple blueprints and work instructions
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components
• Conduct basic weld inspections for appearance and obvious defects
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
• All other duties assigned.
