Requirements

  • Structural steel flux core with the standards of AWS D1.1 and CWB qualifications
  • Certified welder in both GMAW and FCAW
  • Cutting accurately with torches and plasma cuter
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations using flux core and arc welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
