About The Position
We are seeking experienced Flux Core Welders for our facility in Fort Worth. This role involves welding utility poles (monopoles) using .052 and 1/16 wire. The position is for the 2nd shift. Pay starts at $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, with a permanent hire rate of $25.00 - $26.00 per hour. A retention bonus is available for eligible employees after being hired permanently.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Flux Core welding with .052 and 1/16 wire.
- Experience with Duel Shield Fluxcore.
- Ability to multitask.
- Comfortable welding on a moving machine.
- Knowledge of gouging.
- Experience with 1G (Groove weld) and 1F (Fillet weld) positions.
- Ability to pass a weld test including 1G Flat, Double Bevel, 1-inch plate with backing bar, and bend test.
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience while using a rotator.
Responsibilities
- Flux core welding using .052 and 1/16 wire.

- Setting up welding machines with specified parameters (Wire Diameter: .052" & 1/16", Process: Fluxcore, Type: Semiautomatic, Position: Flat (1F), Horizontal (2F), Amps: Range 230-280, Volts: Range 26-31, Technique: Stringer).
Benefits
- Retention Bonus: $1,326.50 after 30 days of permanent hire, and another $1,326.50 after 180 days of permanent hire.
