About The Position

Skillforce is hiring experienced pipe welders and pipefitters for an industrial maintenance project in Blytheville, AR. This position offers 40-50 hours per week with pay up to $34 per hour based on skill set and experience. A $75/day per diem is also provided. Requirements

3+ years of industrial pipe welding and fitting experience (chemical or manufacturing environment preferred).
MIG/TIG welding certifications (6G preferred; must pass a weld 6G test).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor/industrial environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipe (½”–12” diameter).
Fit, align, and fully fabricate piping systems using blueprints, layout direction, and precise measurement tools.
Support installation and repair projects, including corrosion-resistant and thermoplastic/FRP systems as needed.
Work collaboratively on general contracting and routine industrial maintenance tasks.
Follow all OSHA safety regulations and uphold company safety standards.
