About The Position

This position will support all functions of the operation including the operation of various types of welding and fabricating equipment. The role requires the ability to fit complex parts for inspection prior to final weld, gauge and inspect parts as required, and palletize finished parts while performing quality documentation sign-offs. The position also involves supporting production operations by ensuring the smooth flow of material, active involvement in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement initiatives, and adherence to 5S practices to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The role requires flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must have mig welding experience with materials including carbon, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Blueprint reading and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings, tolerances and general dimensional information.
• Capable of fixture design and setup.
• Perform quality inspections and follow ISO guidelines for product traceability.
