About The Position

This position is a temp-to-full-time role for a Welder/Fabricator. The pay rate ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities include performing MIG welding on various metal components and structures according to specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, inspecting welds for accuracy and quality, using measuring tools for precise dimensions, assisting with fabrication and assembly, and following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes
• Familiarity with reading blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate welds
• Knowledge of codes and standards related to welding and fabrication
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders and hand tools
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to codes and standards
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures to ensure precise dimensions
