About The Position

We are posting this add for a future team member for our manufacturing / fabrication process. In this position the use of engineered drawings to build and manufacture parts from cutting materials, forming, grinding and welding materials to customers specifications.

Requirements

  • Use of engineered drawings to build and manufacture parts from cutting materials, forming, grinding and welding materials to customers specifications.
  • Aluminum, Stainless, and Carbon Steel fabrication.
  • Operation of Saws, Grinders, Press Brakes.
  • Welding experience.
  • Ability to use precision tools, such as tape measures, to ensure accurate dimensions and alignments.
  • Ability to operate lift trucks and overhead cranes safely.
  • Understanding and adherence to all shop procedures.
  • Adherence to established safety standards and procedures.
  • Consistent utilization of appropriate PPE.
  • Understanding and compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as those set by OSHA and the American Welding Society (AWS).
  • Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, operate, and maintain welding and trade-specific machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze work orders, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately determine welding requirements and specifications.
  • Interpret labels and select the appropriate machinery and operational sequence based on project needs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to verify product compliance; maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and inspections.
  • Proficient in visual inspection to assess weld quality.
  • Accurately document inspection results and quality assessments to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Operate lift trucks and overhead cranes safely to transport materials and components.
  • Employ precision tools, such as tape measures, to ensure accurate dimensions and alignments.
  • Understand and follow all shop procedures to maintain consistency and quality in work processes.
  • Adhere to established safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Consistently utilize appropriate PPE to safeguard against workplace hazards.
  • Understand and comply with industry regulations and standards, such as those set by OSHA and the American Welding Society (AWS).
  • Clearly communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
