About The Position

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a swing shift position in a shop located in NW Portland. The role involves running fluxcore and some TIG welding, as well as fabricating pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other products based on blueprints.

Requirements

• Able to pass a 2G plate weld test in Fluxcore
• Have your own welding hood, steel toe boots & basic welding tools
• Have reliable transportation
• Excellent history of a solid work ethic and attendance
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC)
• Ability work a 3:30PM-1AM swing shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Welding TIG process on carbon & stainless steel
• Welding fluxcore process on carbon & stainless steel
• Read blueprints
• Do layout and set up
• Operate standard fabrication shop equipment
