Ground Force Worldwide, part of Federal Signal Corporation, is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to produce high-quality welds for large mining-equipment tanks. This is not entry-level straight-line welding: the role requires wire-feed welding in multiple positions, including work inside and on top of tanks and in confined spaces. Candidates should be capable of consistently producing craftsman-quality welds, or able to develop quickly into excellent welders. The position offers opportunities for career growth as well as continued hands-on work. Starting wages are $24–$29 per hour depending on experience, with placement based on a five-point scale and weld-test results, and the opportunity to earn more over time. The weekend schedule is Friday through Sunday for 36 hours, with pay for 40 hours. Employees are expected to work professionally and respectfully with others, prioritize on-time, high-quality work, communicate effectively with supervisors and engineers, and maintain a professional approach to workplace issues. This is a smoke-free, drug-free workplace, and pre-employment testing is required. Ground Force Worldwide designs, engineers, and manufactures mine-support equipment for surface and underground mining, with equipment operating in more than 60 countries. It has provided custom solutions for over 30 years and is part of Federal Signal Corporation, a global manufacturer of equipment and solutions for municipal, governmental, industrial, and commercial customers.
