About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Work-Mig Welder/Fabricator to join their team in the Leesville, LA region. This is a non-exempt, production line role focused on building manufactured housing. The position requires performing manual labor, maintaining a clean work area, reading blueprints and orders, and using various hand and air tools. The role emphasizes working quickly and methodically as part of a team, adhering to safety procedures, and embodying Champion's Operation Principles.

Requirements

• Mig Welding experience required.
• Fabrication/design skills/experience required.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Must understand safety procedures.
• Must have good teamwork skills.
• Must live the Campion Operation Principals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing preferred but not required.
• Metal prep and paint experience recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate well with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, grinders, metal cutting tools.
