About The Position

We’re a fast-paced Experiential Marketing Agency based in Long Beach, CA, creating exciting brand experiences throughout Southern California and across the U.S. Our fabrication team brings ideas to life from the ground up; taking creative concepts and turning them into custom displays, structures, and experiential environments for live events, product launches, trade shows, custom displays, and brand activations. We are urgently hiring a full-time Welder Fabrication Technician with strong MIG and TIG welding experience. We’re looking for someone who is skilled in welding and metal fabrication but is also interested in continuing to develop skills beyond welding and supporting the overall needs of our fabrication and production department. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, building custom projects, and working in a production environment where priorities can shift based on upcoming events and client needs. Every project can be different.

Requirements

  • Minium of 5 years’ experience in welding; MIG, Arc welding and Fabrication
  • Strong metal fabrication skills and understanding of welding techniques
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials
  • Comfortable using grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Hands-on problem solver with a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Willingness to learn new equipment, techniques, and fabrication skills
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a fabrication role

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual is a Plus (Spanish & English)
  • Experience in custom fabrication, scenic fabrication, displays, exhibits, events, or similar industries is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of custom fabrication projects
  • Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal components and structures
  • Read and work from drawings, measurements, and project specifications
  • Cut, grind, fit, finish, and prepare materials for fabrication
  • Build custom displays, event structures, frames, scenic elements, and other specialty projects
  • Work with different materials, tools, and fabrication equipment
  • Support other areas of production when needed
  • Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and recommend solutions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow company safety procedures and properly use PPE
  • Continue developing skills beyond welding and cross-train in other areas of fabrication and production
  • Be flexible with changing production schedules, priorities, and project deadlines
