Work may take place in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting. The role may require movement across active construction and project sites with varied terrain; accessing ground-level, overhead, elevated, and restricted-access work areas; handling tools and materials; and working outdoors in varied weather and site conditions. Confined spaces and elevated locations may be required based on project needs and applicable safety requirements. Physical exertion may range from sedentary to heavy depending on the assignment. The role also requires communication, interpretation of work and safety information, calculations and problem solving, attention to detail, sound judgment, and adaptability to changing conditions and priorities.
