About The Position

This role is ideal for experienced welders or fabricators ready to advance beyond entry-level work. Join a growing manufacturing team where your MIG welding skills directly impact production quality and output. The position involves performing MIG welding on various components, completing tack welding, grinding, and finishing work, and rotating across different welding positions within Cell 5. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and part lists for accurate fabrication, using a tape measure for precise measurements, operating shop tools safely, and adhering to all safety requirements. Meeting production goals and attendance expectations is also crucial.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience or trade school training
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Dependability and consistent attendance
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on doors, sills, handles, tanks, and stainless components
  • Complete tack welding, grinding, and finishing work
  • Rotate across Cell 5 welding positions (welding, tacking, stud, and bung welding)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and part lists for accurate fabrication
  • Use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements
  • Operate shop tools safely and efficiently
  • Follow all PPE and safety requirements
  • Meet production goals and attendance expectations
