About The Position
Precision Pumping Systems (PPS) is a local, family-owned manufacturer established in 1972 that is experiencing rapid growth. They are seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join their team and contribute to building industry-leading pump stations. Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Valid US Driver's License with an acceptable driving record required
Responsibilities
- Fabricate parts by cutting, welding, and grooving according to prints
- Measure, cut, weld, groove, and assemble pumping stations using schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams
- Verify work and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Report non-conformances to leads or supervisors
- Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- Train and mentor others as needed
- Apply safe, high-quality practices and systems
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Accurately record job time
- Assist with packaging systems for shipment
- Cross-train in other manufacturing functions
