Requirements

Prior experience in training, mentoring, or instructing welders.
Proficiency in multiple welding processes and techniques.
Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Educator (CWE) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver welding training programs for new hires, apprentices, and experienced welders across multiple facilities.
Instruct on various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
Develop curriculum and training materials aligned with industry standards, company procedures, and certification requirements.
Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments and written exams, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote best practices in welding operations.
Maintain welding equipment and training facilities, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to align training with production needs and quality standards.
Support certification processes such as AWS, ASME, or company-specific qualifications.
Ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.
