About The Position

Safely operate production welding equipment to produce the required number of parts that meet quality standards in a timely manner. This role involves operating production welding equipment, ensuring parts meet quality standards, performing quality control tasks, and conducting operator maintenance on equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

  • Safely start, load, unload, run, and shut down production welding equipment
  • Produce the required number of parts that meet customer and company quality standards in a timely manner
  • Perform production related quality tasks such as using hand held gauges to measure or gauging parts, properly handle non-conforming material, properly label and package parts, properly complete the quality documentation system forms and comply with company calibration procedures
  • Perform operator maintenance on production welding equipment
