About The Position

The Welcome Desk Specialist provides excellent, friendly, and welcoming member service while maintaining a positive, professional attitude. The role is responsible for greeting all incoming members, visitors, and guests.

The position is part time at the Fishers YMCA in Fishers, Indiana, with evening, Saturday, and Sunday shifts. The schedule is 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Must be supervised by staff age 18 or older; minors may not be in the building alone.
• Obtain and maintain current First Aid and Oxygen Administration certifications.
• Opening/closing staff must obtain and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Complete mandatory training within 60–90 days of employment: YMCA New Employee Orientation, Safety and Risk Management, Praesidium: Duty to Report, and Praesidium: Keeping Your YMCA Safe.
