The Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in modern/contemporary Ukraine and Ukrainian affairs, and/or neighboring areas (Baltic states, Moldova, and/or Belarus). This two-year fellowship, from August 2027 to July 2029, is for recent PhDs in the social sciences, humanities, cultural studies, or public policy. The center is particularly interested in scholars who can complement existing faculty expertise. Fellows will focus on their own research, engage in center events, deliver at least one public lecture, and teach one course annually at the University of Michigan while in full-time residency.
