About The Position

Rice Lake Weighing Systems is seeking a Weight Sealer to join its experienced Weight Lab team. The role performs high-end measurements, calibrates and tests weights for public, private, academic, and state or federal customers, and follows work instructions to maintain company standards and measurement equipment. The Weight Sealer maintains general lab etiquette and ensures measurement services meet strict standards and customer expectations. The position requires comfort with measurement conversions, such as grams to milligrams, and working in a fast-paced team environment to uphold the lab’s turnaround time. The employee will work in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art Metrology Lab.

Requirements

Good mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and algebra.
Knowledge of metric conversions.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Good number-recognition skills.
Strong computer skills and experience using new software.
Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team.
No current restrictions prohibiting regular lifting of 35 pounds.
Ability to read and speak English.
