Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) from accredited college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous weighmaster, scale house, logistics, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other business software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs office operations to ensure company requirements are sufficiently met daily.
  • Weighs all commercial trucks by operating industrial scale.
  • Completes Bills of Lading.
  • Enters data into various software programs.
  • Operates standard office equipment efficiently to include: multi-line telephone system, facsimile machine, photocopy machine, postage meter, calculator, computer/printer.
  • Provides daily, bi-monthly, and monthly spreadsheets as required.
  • Assists in invoice preparation and entry into accounts payable system.
