About The Position

Allegro Living, the parent company of Allegro Management Company and Spring Arbor Management Company, is building a premier senior living platform. Spring Arbor Florence is hiring a Full-Time Weekend Warrior Wellness Nurse (LPN / RN) to support our Assisted Living community on overnight weekends. This role is ideal for compassionate, dependable nurses who thrive in an overnight clinical environment and enjoy working independently while being part of a supportive, resident-focused care team. The Wellness Nurse (WN) supervises the delivery of care and services to residents, performing procedures within the guidelines of state and local regulations and accepted standards of care. Ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, professional consultants, and third-party providers is critical.

Requirements

  • Active LPN or RN license required
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

  • Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts every weekend

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting resident needs and monitor resident condition in AL.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to healthcare providers' orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
