About The Position

Priority Management Group is seeking a Part-time RN or LVN Treatment Nurse to join their team at Chateau DVille Rehab and Retirement 2. The Treatment Nurse will provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of physicians and the Director of Nursing Services. The role focuses on the treatment and therapy of skin disorders, and the nurse will assist in modifying treatment plans to meet resident needs according to established medical practices and facility policies. Requirements

• Licensed Practical/Vocation Nurse or Registered Nurse that is licensed and in good standing with the State.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an LPN/LVN/RN.
• Must be able to identify, manage, and treat specific skin disorders and primary and secondary lesions, such as skin abrasions, foot problems such as corns and callouses, decubitus ulcers, bacterial, parasitic and viral skin infections, scaling papular diseases, and benign tumors.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary skin care to residents under the medical direction and supervision of the residents’ attending physicians, the Director of Nursing Services, or the Medical Director of the facility.
• Focus on treatment and therapy of skin disorders.
• Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident, in accordance with established medical practices and the requirements of this state and the policies and goals of this facility.
• Identify, manage, and treat specific skin disorders and primary and secondary lesions, such as skin abrasions, foot problems such as corns and callouses, decubitus ulcers, bacterial, parasitic and viral skin infections, scaling papular diseases, and benign tumors.
