About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Weekend Test Engineering Technician to join the El Paso, TX team! This position is eligible for a variable incentive plan. The role supports the Test Engineer in the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical test equipment and systems used in the manufacturing of Eaton products. The technician will assist in data collection, documentation, and execution of test procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
  • Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 mile radius) of the listed facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.

  • Fully Bilingual: written and oral fluency in Spanish & English

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and operation of test equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
  • Support troubleshooting of test failures and yield issues.
  • Collect and record test data accurately for analysis.
  • Follow test procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain documentation including test logs, calibration records, and equipment manuals.
  • Support training efforts for operators on basic test equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with Test Engineer to implement improvements and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures.
  • Assist in the execution of MSAs and GR&R studies.
