Weekend Sign Installer - New Albany, OH
About The Position
Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the New Albany, OH area. The contractor will be responsible for installing signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM, and picking them up between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic and are installed on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct provides the signs and stakes and replacement inventory as needed. This role is a great fit for delivery and rideshare drivers, couriers, retirees, veterans, or anyone looking for flexible supplemental income. The work is straightforward, independent, and recurring each weekend. Contractors who enjoy driving, being outdoors, and working solo tend to enjoy this role and find it a dependable way to earn extra income on their own schedule.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- 18+ years old
- Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs
- A smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running our mobile app
- Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors
- Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only
- Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend
Responsibilities
- Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations
- Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM
- Pickup the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM
- Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week
- Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pick up- using our website
