Weekend Sign Installer - Winston-Salem, NC
About The Position
Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Winston-Salem, NC area in the community Reserve at Old Hollow. The contractor will be responsible for installing signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM. The same signs must be picked up between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM. The work may be performed at any time within those windows, as long as all signs are placed by Saturday at 10:00 AM and removed by Monday at 8:00 AM. The signs are lightweight corrugated plastic, and are installed on wooden stakes. Artisan Direct provides the signs and stakes and provides replacement inventory as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- 18+ years old
- Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs
- A smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running our mobile app
- Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors
- Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only
- Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend
Responsibilities
- Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations
- Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM
- Pickup the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM
- Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week
- Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pick up- using our website
