About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Weekend Warrior Server to join our team at The Boulevard Senior Living in St. Charles, Missouri. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $18-$20 per hour and a shift schedule of Friday to Monday, 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. As a Weekend Warrior Server, you will be a Host with the Most, greeting residents and fostering a welcoming environment. You will also be a Peppy Prepper, ensuring tables are ready for service and meals are prepared. A Titan of Tidiness, you will maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, and an "Appetite Anthropologist," observing and reporting on residents' dietary habits and appetite changes.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, and resident absences from meals.
