About The Position

This position is for a Weekend Security Officer in Downtown Knoxville, working Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role involves protecting client properties against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. The post requires significant walking to inspect doors, multiple floors, and identify hazards such as leaks, fire, or suspicious activity. The company offers extensive training, including a State of Tennessee Unarmed Security licensing course, and on-the-job training from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

Requirements

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum of 18 years of age
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test

Nice To Haves

Completion of a State of Tennessee Unarmed Security licensing course (training provided)
Completion of 40 hours of on-the-job training (Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm)

Responsibilities

Protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.
Inspect doors and several floors.
Ensure there are no hazards such as leaks, fire or suspicious activity.
